Winter Transitions
This past year has been one of transitions.
As I reflect on how 2024 has unfolded, I am grateful for all the doors that have opened just as others have closed. It has been exciting to facilitate changes to help our brand bend and stand more firmly behind our ever-important mission.
The work we put in this year has been life-altering in the most positive way. As the founder of this brand my position has always been all-consuming. It takes so much each day to create, share and grow this brand, and I have been at it non-stop since 2012. This year, we had an opportunity to rebuild the foundation and find balance by letting go of things that were no longer serving us. I can confidently say that we have come full circle as we begin to close out the year. This, of course, comes only because we have had your unwavering support since day 1, and for that we are forever grateful.
To reflect on and celebrate the transitions in 2024, I wanted to share a most favorite poem by Robert Frost.
Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
