Is anyone else guilty of taking incredibly shallow breaths all day, every day?!
I most definitely am and it's been something I've been working on for quite some time. I am finding that as I get older I'm focusing more on things that matter and less on things that don't which is where breathwork has helped me to stay present.
For those of you who are new to breathwork, finding time to intentionally changing your breathing patterns can have a profound impact on your health and total wellbeing.
I have found that these 3 beginner techniques can be easily incorporated into your everyday life, and here are a few reasons why I love it:
1. it can help release grief, stress, trauma and other emotional roadblocks
2. it is scientifically proven to positively affect the brain and heart along with the immune and digestive systems
3. it can enhance your ability to find gratitude, clarity and openness while removing stressors from your daily life
4. it can allow you to feel connected to something much greater
Happy Monday friends, I hope you find a moment to pause this week.
